The monthly amount is paid before the course starts each month.

Everything refers to the total monthly average, therefore if the course is 4x 90 minutes in total, but all in one week, there would be no discount (since the average of the month is still 1x 90 min. per week). Only the number of hours per week is relevant for the discount.

  • Who can attend VIP courses at the SF Education Center Essen?

    A VIP course can be booked by anyone who is interested in individual support in the professional and linguistic area. This course can be tailored exclusively to the needs of the participant in order to ensure the best possible support. 


    This course format is suitable for those who want to reach their goal quickly and efficiently.


  • What are my content options?

    The VIP course does not follow a fixed curriculum. The focus here is solely on the needs of the participant.


    We are happy to respond to the wishes of the participant and set common goals.


    In a first non-binding 45-minute trial session, the participant works out an initial concept with the teacher and discusses the goals. Here the teacher also has the opportunity to ask about the level of the participant in order to be able to give a realistic assessment of the target guidance. 


    There are virtually no limits. From preparing for exams or interviews for a new job, to planning and supervising homework, projects and final papers. The teachers and coaches of the SFE have excellent experience to get the participants to their goal. 


  • How many participants sit together with me in the VIP course?

    To get the most out of a lesson, we recommend our exclusive 1:1 course - just one participant and one teacher. 

    However, it is also possible to participate in a course in pairs. This is particularly useful if the participants know each other and have the same goals, i.e. on a 1:2 basis.


  • When can I take lessons?

    Only a few are as flexible as the SFE. From Monday to Saturday, the teachers and coaches of the SFE are there for our participants from 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM. This makes it easy to book a VIP course while working or studying!


  • Who will teach me?

    Exclusively trained teachers and coaches for the appropriate needs teach the VIP courses at SFE. For each area there is the appropriate teacher with the appropriate license.


    The SFE ensures that the teacher has sufficient expertise to address any questions from the participants. Our teachers are experienced in teaching people from over 30 different countries.


  • How long are the sessions and how often do they take place?

    As a rule, a session lasts two lessons, i.e. 90 minutes. It is also possible to have several lessons, e.g. 180 minutes. Whether only once a week or several times. Here the participant determines the frequency individually. Depending on the time and content desired, we will find a suitable teacher or coach.


  • Do you only offer German as a foreign language?

    As a language and education institute, the SFE offers German as well as other languages at the various levels of the CEFR. 


    We will gladly inform you about the possibilities at SFE. 


  • I don't live in Essen, but would still like to take lessons with you. Is that possible?

    Yes, of course. This is possible. The SFE offers online courses for individual needs. This means that there is no need to be tied to a specific location. Flexibly, the participant can be anywhere in the world. As long as there is a stable internet connection on the side of the participant, the SFE can support with online courses. 


    Equipped with a webcam, a microphone and one of the popular programs (Skype, QQ, Zoom, ...), we have no limits.


  • I have employees in my company who would like to improve their German language skills. Is the VIP course suitable for this?

    Absolutely. That's exactly what the VIP course is for. This means that employees can also take advantage of the opportunity to improve their German skills after work.  If required, we are happy to offer a course in a small group so that your employees can take part in our professional courses together. We are also happy to take care of the assessment of your employees in order to avoid too many differences and to create a homogeneous learning environment.

  • Where do the classes take place?

    Directly in the modern equipped premises of the SFE or conveniently online from home or on the road.


  • How can I book lessons?

    Registration is possible at any time in person at our front office during regular business hours or by phone.

  • Can I book a VIP course in order to take part in an SFE final exam?

    We recommend taking an intensive language course in preparation for the SFE final exams. 


    If participation is not desired or possible for personal reasons, the SFE offers participation in an individual VIP language course to prepare for and take the SFE final exam. 


    Here, a prescribed number of hours is spent preparing for the respective exam in order to reach the corresponding level. Participation in the final exam is possible free of charge after attending the VIP course for the respective level.
