When you come to Germany, you must have health insurance. And that is a good thing. Because it can quickly happen that you need medical help or medication or even have to be treated in hospital. And that can be expensive. Because the costs for medical care in Germany are among the highest in the world.

Therefore, if you apply for a visa to enter Germany, you must also provide proof of travel health insurance for the duration of your stay in Germany.

Die Techniker

After visiting our language school

After successfully completing our language courses, many participants go on to university. Even as a student in Germany, it goes without saying that you have to have health insurance, as it is almost impossible to cover all the costs for medication, doctor's visits or even hospital stays yourself.

Insurance is mandatory! As soon as the university notices that a student is not insured, he can be expelled. Apart from that, enrollment at a German university is not possible without health insurance coverage.

Our cooperation partners from the Techniker Krankenkasse (short: TK) offer great deals for students. Your contact person is Ms. Ina Vogel. From just under 100€ per month, the student is already equipped in a basic way - but there are also options for a little more comfort. Just ask!
